Jersey Variety Walks
The Jersey Variety walks are generally for people who are staying in Jersey for a week and who would like a variety of walks. These walks offer a selection of walks incorporating some historical and some general scenic aspects. Below is outlined an itinerary that is just an example. 
The walks can vary depending on the guide that takes you.
Jersey ‘Variety’ Walks walking in a variety of Jersey locations
Jersey is an island of great variety and beauty, nestling in the Gulf of St Malo
Come and see the island’s beautiful coastline, rocky coves, sandy and surf beaches at your leisure! Hear the legends, folklore and find out more about the island’s history. View the archaeological remains, ancient Dolmens, medieval castles and German occupation fortifications Birds, wild flowers and butterflies abound in their varied habitats. Its charm is without comparison. Plus we also walk through two of Jersey’s most beautiful valleys.
Paths: Country paths and well maintained cliff paths, occasionally rough with short steep sections

Day 1- Arrive and book into Hotel
Free afternoon—Group meet at 5.00 in bar area of Hotel/Guesthouse Lounge bar.
Day 2 - Older than the Pyramids – Dolman delights – Leave Gorey and complete a circular walk visiting on the way the Dolman de Faldouet, than going along the coast to St Catherine, on a clear day you shall be able to see France and the Ecrehous reefs, we then continue along towards Rozel bay en route visiting a passage dolmen and also enjoying some spectacular views of the north coast. From here we go in land up a delightful valley and head towards St Martins church and Le Hougue Bie a remarkable dolmen and historical site which has a museum and return via lovely country lanes to St Helier
Day 3 - St Helier - we go on a stroll along part of the south coast and then turn inland and go up one of the most picturesque valleys in Jersey and then visit Hamptonne which is a fantastic museum depicting Jersey Rural life and history. We then travel through delightful country lanes into St Peters Valley which was one of Queen Victoria’s most loved valleys on the island. We get the opportunity to visit a working watermill.
Day 4 - We minibus to Greve de Lecq on the north Coast of Jersey. Then we walk along the coast to Devils hole en route we should be able to view the other Channel islands, we then visit Jersey’s finest vineyard La Mare and have a guided tour (including wine tasting!) we then continue along the north coast enjoy lunch at Bonne Nuit – you have the opportunity to taste a real local dish known as a ‘Bean Crock ‘a traditional Jersey recipe. From hear we venture further along the coast and finish at the Black Dog pub we you can have a well earned drink and hear of the Legend of the Black Dog.
Day 5 - Free Day—options are numerous:
visit one of the fascinating museums: day trip to France or Guernsey :or simply enjoy the delights of shopping in St Helier– tax free shopping.
Day 6 - Bel Royal -St Aubin—Noirmont—Portelet—St Brelade—Corbiere
We bus to Bel Royal and visit the Glass Church by the famous Monsieur Rene Lalique of Paris, we then walk onto visit Jersey’s original harbour and old town of St Aubin, then up to Noirmont to view German Fortifications and lunch at the delightful Portlet Bay. At St Brelades visit a picturesque Norman Church and onward to Corbiere to Jersey’s lighthouse and spectacular views of St Ouen’s Bay.
Day 7- Corbiere to Greve de Lecq
Along the island’s west coast and the expanse of St Ouen’s Bay, then passing Pinnacle rock, site of pagan rituals, the race course and Grosnez Castle, view the other islands for the first time. Along the cliff to the finish and visit a pub with it’s own watermill for a well earned drink.
Day 8- Depart for Home.
